The Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 has come to an end for this year. A lot of teams suprised the gaming community with huge wins over higher ranked opponents making the event even more exciting than it already was. Over all the event was great, the turn out was perfect and the event had huts and hotels within walking distance. Even inside the event itself there was a bar! From Team-eMpathy, we had the eMpathy.cod4 team step up to the plate, and although they didn't manage to make it out of the group stages, they gave it 100% effort, and that was good to see as many spectators looked on and supported us during our games. So I would say overall, the event for us and many other teams, was a success. Below you can find the final rankings from the games.

eMpathy win swedish championship
This news item was posted on 15.02.2010 - 14:59 by HopeZ
This weekend the nation of Sweden held their annual CoD Xbox Swedish Championships. The championship took the format of an online qualification, followed by 2 LAN events in separate locations. The winners each LAN then played each other online from the two locations on a super 100mb connection.
Decerto rules were enforced and as expected last years winners Empathy Sweden walked away with a very comfortable victory, only dropping 1 round in S&D the entire event, not dropping a flag or a round on demo. They take home 1400 Euro and a SteelSeries headset each.
We spoke to Empathy player Oscar 'QuiZi' Klasmark about winning:
It was a great tourney, we had so much fun even tho we didn't have any "hard" games, we only lost 1 round of snd in the tourney, no flags lost, no demo bombs lost. We steam rolled this without a doubt. Still well fun to meet all the people again plus Lucifer has lan XP now so we are ready for the next EU event!
